John A. Dantico, CCP, SPHR
John A. Dantico, CCP, SPHR, is a Principal with The HR Group. He has extensive
consulting domestic and international experience with both private and public
sector organizations and has completed numerous client engagements concerned
with base pay structures, annual incentives, sales incentives, executive compensation,
long-term incentive programs, organization structure, productivity plans and
long-term compensation planning issues.
Mr. Dantico's client work extends over a broad range of industries including:

Previously, Mr. Dantico was with William M. Mercer, Inc., A.S. Hansen, Inc.,
and James & Scott Associates, Inc., and has more than fifteen years prior
compensation consulting experience. He also was employed by Bell & Howell
Company, where he was Corporate Director of Manpower Planning. In addition, he
was a Consulting Principal in Operations Management with Fry Consultants, Inc.
Early in his professional career, Mr. Dantico held several engineering, manufacturing
and administrative positions with a large international company.
Mr. Dantico has received accreditation as a Certified Compensation
Professional (CCP) from World at Work and as a Senior
Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society for Human
Resources Management.
Mr. Dantico has been a board member of the Chicago Compensation Association,
was a member of the American Compensation Association, (now World at Work), education
programs faculty and served several terms on the National Compensation and Benefits
Committee of the Society for Human Resources Management. He also is on The DePaul
University staff, who provide formal classroom training for experienced human
resources professionals seeking PHR and SPHR certification by the Human Resource
Certification Institute (HRCI).
Mr. Dantico earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University (New York) and a B.S.
degree from Northwestern University (Evanston).
